Membrane Engineering Subcommittee

Membrane Engineering is one of the separation technologies using thin films prepared by polymers or inorganic materials. This membrane separation process can be operated without phase change. Thus, high selective products can be obtained efficiently through a good membrane. The membrane technology is widely applied for water treatment, food processing or energy treatment.Membrane engineering has been developed for both membrane preparation and membrane processing.

Our subcommittee consists of companies, researchers and students who are interest in membrane engineering. The purpose of our subcommittee is development of membrane engineering by sharing latest information, interexchange of the researchers and development of human resources.
